There may be an additional shipping charge to send it back out depending on the reasons for the delivery failure.
Tracking will be available for all packages sent.
In most cases you will not have to pay import taxes. Unfortunately due to the complexity of global shipping, we can not guarantee this is the case. Larger orders may incur additional importation fees.
Our Products
We believe electronic products should last as long as possible which is why we’ve worked hard on making a product that lasts. All our products come with a two year warranty.
Like most things, we have high standards when it comes to where and how our products are made, which is why they all come with CE, RoHS, Reach and FCC certifications.
Plastics
The nylon braiding in our cables is 100% recycled and recyclable. Not all of the plastic in our cable comes from recycled sources however. This is something we intend to fix in future products.
Copper & Aluminium
Our cables contain both recycled copper and aluminium and we’re working hard on the traceability to better understand how and where they come from to be able to responsibly source the materials that end up in our cables.
Unfortunately, within the industry, official due diligence and certification for the sourcing of these metals is severely lacking, which is something we want to change in the future.
Tin
The tin solder used in electronics is notorious for fostering child labour, terrible working conditions, funding wars and environmental distruction. Thanks to Stannol and Fairlotet, we’re able to ensure our solder is responsibly sourced, conflict-free and carbon neutral.
Gold
Any electronic device with connectors will most likely contain some gold. In fact there is much more gold in your phone per weight than gold ore that comes out of the ground! Unfortunately gold is linked to terrible unfair working conditions and is a contributor to environmental destruction in some of the most vulnerable parts of the world which is why we’ve partnered with Fairtrade to support fair gold.
Neodymium
Our modular cables use the strongest commercially available magnets made from neodymium. This magnet is considered a rare-earth element which does hide a substantial environmental impact. We’re working towards sourcing recycled neodymium magnets through some early-stage initiatives and very much hope to responsibly source it in the future.
Miscellaneous
We invest in reforestation in an agroforestry project, Jubilacion Segura, in the Peruvian Amazon with our partner PUR. This helps to heal an ecosystem that is being devastated by gold mining and supports local farmers with an income. Illegal mining is a complex issue and much more needs to be done. This project is a start to stop the destruction in gold supply chains and make them holistically fairer and more sustainable.
If you wish to invest into the project or support us by any other means, feel free to contact us at contact@syllucid.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
If you have any further questions, please contact us at contact@syllucid.com and we’ll endeavour to get back to you within 72 hours.
