We believe in fair pay and safe working conditions. The Syllucid Charge supports Fairtrade Gold, from Peru. Fairtrade Gold is sourced exclusively from small-scale mines that meet the Fairtrade Gold Standard — an internationally recognised best-practice indicator for workers’ rights and environmental protection.

Reduced carbon footprint

Our circular materials reduce CO₂ pollution by approximately 80% compared to new-material cables.

Recycled metals and plastics

The Syllucid Charge uses 30-50% recycled copper and aluminium. The Syllucid Charge’s durable nylon braiding is 100% recycled, giving discarded plastics a new purpose and adding strength and durability. Plus the materials can be recycled again and again.

Responsibly sourced tin

The Syllucid Charge is made using carbon neutral and conflict-free tin solder.

Reforestry

5% of the profits of every purchase of the Syllucid Charge support the agroforestry project, Jubilacion Segura, in the Peruvian Amazon. This project is a start to stop the destruction in gold supply chains and make them holistically fairer and more sustainable.

Durability

The longer your electronics last, the better they are for the planet. The cable is designed to last with woven braiding, bend protectors, thicker conductor wires, a reinforced core and gold-plated connectors. People can use it for a long time, therefore saving money and reducing e-waste too.

Responsible materials

Gold-plated connectors

All our connectors are gold plated to ensure high-quality connections that last. We work with Fairtrade to support gold miners with Fairtrade Gold.

Copper conductors

High purity copper conductors are used for efficient charging, We’ve sourced recycled copper for out cables which used 90% less energy when compared to virgin mined copper.

Aluminium shielding

Strong, lightweight aluminium provides cables with additional protection. We’ve sourced recycled aluminium for our cables which uses 95% less energy when compared to virgin mined aluminium.

Durable nylon braiding

Added strength and durability comes from braided strands of nylon. Despite being recyclable, nylon accounts for 10% of the ocean debris, which is why we’ve sourced 100% recycled nylon.

Fair solder

Made with responsible sourced, recycled and carbon neutral solder. Sourcing our solder from our partner Stannol, ensures the tin in our cables protects people and the environment.

Neodymium magnets

We use the strongest commercially available magnets. We don’t have an inspiring story to share here yet... but we’re looking for ways to make an impact in the future.
